RBPA relies on several sources to maintain the RBPA Scholarship Fund. Member dues, revenue from RBPA events, and private donations. Each year RBPA is able to help students who have demonstrated leadership in the LGBT community to attend college. In 2010, three students were each awarded $3,000 scholarships, and in the future we hope to be able to help even more. The cost of higher education is constantly increasing, while at the same time, programs designed to offer assistance to people in need are coming under increased scrutiny as the government looks for ways to manage spending.

RBPA is a non-profit organization, with no employees, an all-volunteer Board of Directors and very little in the way of operating expenses. This allows us to direct the vast majority of the revenue we raise directly to the scholarship fund.
